Pinch Me...I Must Be Dreaming!

Slap a tiara on my head and call me Your Highness because I Have Made It! I don't know how long it will last so I'm going to celebrate and revel in the glory of it all. One of my absolute favorite blog writers has put me on his links list!!! Just like the super-cute boy in high school with the dreamy blue eyes, I never thought Magazine Man even knew I existed. But oh, happy day - he does!

I'm ashamed to say I don't know how long it's been there, but today when I checked in with him, I happened to see it. I glanced at the list to see who else I should be reading (because if MM likes 'em, it's a safe bet I will, too), and there it was. Haphazard Head-Trip. For all the blogosphere to see. Of course I knew immediately it had to be a mistake. Surely it must be someone else's page with the same name. I mean, I know I spent hours upon hours suffering in mental anguish trying to come up with a cool name, but let's face it - it ain't that clever. I've no delusions about that. Maybe Blogger saw the cobwebs on this page and gave the name to someone else. I had to click it and see who else thought it an appropriate moniker. Lo and behold, it really was my page!!! Wayne and Garth immediately echoed throughout my brain - I'm Not Worthy!

I've been reading MM's moving, powerful, entertaining works of brilliance for months, and I have nothing but the utmost respect for him as a writer, a family man, and a human being. So to somehow find my way onto his radar is a true honor indeed.

Thanks, Magazine Man. I'll try not to disappoint you.
